Today could have ended very badly, seeing as I was completely wearing Mommy out with my boundless energy (that was more boundless than usual today). Thankfully, Mommy's exhaustion led her to take me to a magical land filled with books, and the biggest train set I've ever seen. This thing was epic. Although, for some reason all the trains had faces, so I tossed them off the track and only played with the coal cars (because trains should NOT have faces). Helpful hint: Magnets do NOT stay stuck together when picked up. Very frustrating. And I must not have had the magic touch, because whenever I tried to put the trains back together, they wouldn't even get near each other, but when Mommy did it, they instantly clung together. I don't know what I was doing wrong. Sometimes she would rotate them around the opposite way than I had been trying, but that really shouldn't make a difference. I mean both metal thingys were identical. Pretty sure it's some sick trick meant to torture and exasperate kids. In spite of this, it was awesome.
